You can choose from three levels of donation:
Be a Friend:
Your annual membership is a form of donation that signals your belief in the importance of municipal libraries. It is essential to maintain the strength and growth of our group.
Be a Good Friend:
An individual or group donating $250 - $500 will become a Good Friend. The donor's name will be engraved on a plaque displayed in the library.
Be a Best Friend:
An individual or group donating more than $500 will receive the designation of Best Friend. The donor's name will be engraved on a plaque displayed in the library.
This is a very popular event and is successful year after year.
People are invited to participate in a number of ways:
Enjoy the traditional Library Week Breakfast; encourage your children to join the Summer Reading Program; dare to enter the blind date contest; explore the poetry of young Dorval writers found on the library shelves in the volume Open Sesame…
The Friends of the Dorval Library support a number of library activities throughout the year. There may be prizes to be won!
Keep an eye out for future events.
You decide on your participation level. Many people become members to express their belief in the importance of public libraries. Others enjoy meeting fellow library enthusiasts at events that we sponsor and at our annual Brunch and Membership Drive. The truly energetic help organize our book sale. Each level of participation is valued.
The Friends of the Dorval Library
invite you to review the titles in our book cart, which holds books for sale throughout the year.
Simply pay at the circulation desk.
The generous participation of Dorval
Library users has enabled us to collect between $400 and $600 a year through book cart sales. Thank you for your support!
